Colas Ltd has announced that they have launched frictionless reporting within their AVA Airsweb safety reporting platform. They are the first UK construction company to roll this out, and one of only eight companies in the world to have launched the system.

Trail blazing CYCLOPS is launched at Chorlton Road
Colas have completed construction works on Area 1a – Chorlton Road in Manchester which features the first CYCLOPS junction in the UK. This innovative scheme is one of the early phases of the £13.4m investment into the Manchester to Chorlton Cycling and Walking route.

RICS Social Impact Awards - Double Win
This week our congratulations go out to all of our colleagues involved in the Anlaby and East Ella Flood Alleviation Scheme, which has won both the Infrastructure Category award and Project of the Year award at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Yorkshire and Humber Social Impact Awards 2020. As a winning entry, the project will now go forward to the RICS Social Impact Awards National Grand Final on Thursday 24 September.

Colas continues to work with Hampshire County Council following framework award
Colas is delighted to have been awarded a place on the Hampshire County Council – Generation 4-1 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Framework. This four year framework will run from April 1st 2020 and will include works with a value up to £250,000.
